I found this last week. Fu*king sh@ myself as I was hammering it at the time.

Could have sworn mine pinged when the ignition was first turned on and it realised the temperature was "icy". I also got a flashing snowflake.

Worst part is driving along where the temperature is fluctuating between 4 and 6 deg C Thought the car was gonna explode

My Superb doesn't seem to ping at all with the temperature.

But every time I get low on fuel I nearly have a heart attack!! why cant it be a soft pinging noise? it cheapens the feel of the car!

lol this is funny cos it was only last week that I found this out. I was driving home from work, it was reading around 5.5'C on the dashboard. Just as I got home I put my foot down a little on the last road to my house only to be accompanied by 'ding ding ding', wondering what the hell had broken I looked at the dashboard expecting to see lots of flashing warning lights etc, the only thing I could see was the temo gauge now flashing at me with a snow flake so I assumed this is what had beeped. It's done a few times since with the cool weather, gets a bit annoying after a while lol and i still on occasion forget and wonder what the hell the noise is.

I would like the fuel one to be a bit softer. Though is good for scaring passengers.

The "ping ping" caught me by surprise as its only started doing it since the conversion. Before it just flashed the temperature at you a few times with no audible warning. The ping cared the shee-ite out of me the first time - It was different to he BEEEEEP for the fuel low / handbrake on, so I thought something had to be wrong....

The most annoying by far, is the empty washer bottle symbol. Does the washer bottle only hold 3 teaspoons of water?? Does my paps in.

The worst one IMHO is the low washer fluid one, as that one is LOUD unlike the temperature warning, which appears to be lower volume. Personally I'd prefer them switched
