^^^ From that article.  Wind Farms did not interfere with his plans to build a golf course on the Scottish coast other than him saying he would not build one if there was going to be wind turbines. 

He built the course and the wind turbines are built and ne're the 2 will meet, they are in the sea and the golf course is on the land, 

and it looks like he is getting the permission to build the houses that he wanted to.
