No that's perfect thanks Nick. They should be the same fixture then as with the VW paddles. Have ordered a brushed metal grey pair to match the SEL Exec panels so let's see how they look! Will keep you all posted.

 

So the order was easy enough over eBay and they arrived very promptly (ordered Saturday, delivered Wednesday)! The quality is remarkable for a £16 item! I was concerned the formed alloy would be light and roughly done being imported from China, but they feel fantastic and well weighted, and the corners are edged great and not sharp at all like I worried! The matte grey looks good and will hopefully match the brushed metal trimmings on the SEL Exec

 

Now, just to get the car and to install them! Will keep you posted.

Looks great Dilz! Can you please confirm (or link) the item number? I want to pick up a set of the dark grey ones but every listing I can find on eBay specifically says not compatible with S3 2016 or Golf mk7 (which I assume is the same fitment). Thanks in advance.

Yes of course. Here's the exact ones I ordered... Tried them out today on some A roads and hills. Works a treat and at nightime they look very classy.

sorry to revive this old thread. I've got a DSG equipped Superb and want to upgrade the steering wheel tot he flat bottom wheel with dsg paddles (my current steering wheel doesn't have those).

Will this be a plug and play upgrade or will this involve programming?

 

The DSG paddles need coding. 

 

You our will also need to use your current buttons or buy one for your car as the Superb and Octavia (it is basically a vRS wheel) use different buttons.
