OK,OK I give in - can't take it any longer, I have to return to the fold.

My boss started it by buying a demonstrator vRS from Mitchells in Ellesmere Port, there last one.

And a fantastic car it is - looking great in Silver.

then L.Y.K goes and post's the pictures of the new vRS in Silver

So that's it I'm having one.

But I've got a bit of a dilema -- the same old story -- which flaming colour !!!!

I really like the look of the new Metalic Blue - but thats not available at launch(apparently)

I loved my old vRS in Black Magic - but the Silver looks fantastic too!!

Finance's in the process of being sorted, hope to place order begining of January for delivery in March on a '06 plate.

Spec will depend on availability and how succesfull I am at sorting the finances !!

But I know my friends at briskoda.net will help me out with one thing - the colour choice - so over to you people.

YELLOW

YELLOW[/b']

Unfortunately Yellow is not available from launch.

Unfortunately Yellow is not available from launch.

I'd wait

silver:

classy, understated, will hold its value, wont show stone chips, always looks clean

silver very difficult to match after the local scumbag keys your doors [twice on my silver vRS mk1]

black looks good till the dirt arrives

blue is.....blue

Get Sahara beige when the release it ....one day........I hope.......

Blue. And welcome back! :D

Hi Dave.

How's it going?

I've got to say the Blue is good...the new RS definately looks better is dark colours..so red and black are good too.

How about getting a mint mk1 RS and having IHI.....it's very good.;):D

Hi Denis

Yes I have to admit I'm tempted by the blue - although I would need to have a more definate release date to wait for it.

Hi Adrian

It's going well now - although the last six months have been pretty bad - my Gran has been in hospital after a fall - but she's well on the mend.

Must admit I had thought of getting a WRC vRS and giving it the treatment - but I have found myself really warming to the new vRS,but ultimately it will depend on how well I manage to sort the finances - I'm hoping for a mega spec :D

I'd go for the blue personally. Black's out as I have it at the moment, silver's too common really and doesn't suit the shape of the new Tavia IMO, and the blue did look ace on the launch pics

Bit of a pain they haven't got an exact date for it though...

Steve

Black, its the only true q-car colour

I currently have silver but agree,it doesn't suit the new shape.

Another vote for black (get a copy of January what car.Good pics of a black one on test)

OK guys and girls - having spoken to Mitchells in Ellesmere Port today I have made the decision on colour....

:drummer: drum roll please..

Race Blue Metallic

They can get me a vRS with some of the options I wanted for the begining of January 2006  or a 8-10 week factory order for my own spec!!!

Decisions Decisions

Should have been RED . but an individual choice  go for your own choice of spec. :)

Blue or black. :)

It's a pain really, you can order a car - and put whatever you want on it -- but still there are no brochures to look at ????

With Audi we get bombarded with brochures months before we see a car.....

Hardback RS4 brochure anyone ??

Need to speak to Mitchells again anyway - Ross sent me an email detailing the car he can get me for January, but just checking and it looks bloody expensive .

I had to tell my dealer today that the Yellow would be available in the new one (he thought they weren't doing it).

Thanks for that, I didnt think that I would be getting another new car -- but hey it's funny how things change aint it ??

Voted black - great when it's clean, super when it's dirty - but so understand your picking blue. Looks terrific on the new vRS.

And good to see your back in a PowerSkud, Dave...

I think the blue will look good, Dave, although I've always admired Black Magic - if they had been doing black leather in the L&Ks when I bought might it would have been a black one.

By the way, did you sell the plate with your last vRS, or did you keep it in the end? Would have been nice on the new one! ;)

I was and to some extent still am confused on the colour -- chose the blue as it looks great in the pictures and I've already had a Black Magic one

The plate went with the original car -- that car was my 1st love and didnt want anything in relation to it....

But the new one may well be similarly marked.............
