I've just acquired a 2008 Octavia tdi to replace my old Nissan tank, and i'm on here in an effort to sort out a few little issues with the car....starting with the infamous water-in-the-boot problem. Hopefully I'll be doing a few other jobs to make life a bit better (stereo, fitting cruise control etc etc) in addition to sorting out the problems that the family member didn't bother telling me about!
