Megapower LED Puddle Lights - Fitment Issues

Featured Replies

Anyone else had issues with the fitment of the megapower puddle lights from SuperSkoda?

They don't have a cutout for the plastic tab in the mirror like the oem ones do so they are really only held in place by the screw and don't fit flush as per attachment......

Could file the tab off the mirror but then the stock ones wouldn't fit back right.  They seem pretty secure as they are but there is a bit of movement, but would have preferred them to be flush :(

I just changed the bulbs for LEDs, coudn't see the point of an expensive LED unit when you don't need one.

Yeah had some led to go in there too part of the ledperf kit which I tried out as well but these are quite a bit brighter lighting up a much bigger area.

It's a shame as if they fit spot on they'd be awesome. I'll see how they go, can always swap back to oem with the ledperf replacement bulbs.......

Hi Andyvee, what bulbs are they? Any canbus errors?

Puddle lights aren't monitored so you can use any LED bulbs.

Sorry for hijacking the theme. Can anyone read of part numbers of original puddle lights?

I just cut off the mirror's plastic tab and forget about it. Superskoda led puddles are really much much more brighter. I'll never go back to the OEM ones.
