OK, the Friday and Monday have been booked off work. Also eyeing up a new tent for the occasion, one of those Coleman easy-erect ones.

Come on Hyphons, you could buy a one man tent and use it as a car-port when you get home.   I aim to get to this one Lee. It should be an interesting drive down.

  • Thanks everyone for making it. Had a fab time despite the winds and showers. Better than them poor sods who's tents were trashed!   Next year it's camping at the same place with a BBQ for those who

  • Booked in next to Gilly after I explained he's my partner and my lover. They were cool about it but asked why's the dog's getting involved.

Until it gets a little closer, I won't know 100%, but I am interested as this is basically "local" for me.

Lee, we will obviously have a little one at this time, could you choose a campsite where they have static caravans too, as we would need something like that to stay in, warm, electricity, quiet etc... ;)

Needs to have plenty of sound proofing too so we don't get woken up by a crying baby ;)

That's the date of the Great Dorset Steam Fair, so I'll not be able to come regardless as the roads around Blandford are gridlocked for hours everyday the fair is on. No way around it and the alternative routes are likely to be clogged with traffic trying to unsuccessfully avoid the gridlock (been there and done that).

I'll try and find somewhere that has them and also caters for the more camp amongst us :o lol

If push came to shove could Gilly and Wibble camp and bring the mobile lane hogger?

It's only a lane hogger if you drive like a fecking eejit.

Would prefer not to. I'll check for sites through the Camping & Caravan Club.

Don't want to camp at Plough Inn again now that they have sewers.

Will keep an eye on this, more likely to be able to make it if at a camping and caravan club site.

I probably won't be able to camp as it'll conflict with work now, but I'll still be able to pop down :D

Hello

Just wondering what the latest was on this - do we have a venue yet?

Cheers

Chris

Come on Lee p wake up!!! :D  If people don't want to camp at the Plough for some reason, there is a campsite directly over the road at the 70's  themed caravan park. We'll be staying in the house Bless it........ :notme:

Due to a new business venture taking me to the US of A for the Summer (tough life!) we won't be making it. Sorry guys :(

What's happening with this Lee01 ?

Have a look at the Red Shoot Camping Site. Good location, right next to a pub with its own micro-brewery. Www.redshoot-camping park.com

I'll follow wherever the crowd goes :)
