Fabia Vrs aerial

Featured Replies

Bought a small aerial to replace what i think is a huge aerial for a sporty car. But what i thought was gunna be a simple straight swap isnt gunna be without help.

My car has a swival thing, i try and unscrew the aerial all the way out and it just lets me swival the dam thing. prob a simple thing to get off (iam hoping) but the car being 3weeks old i dont wanna break it. Its a good idea nice to know it wasnt gunna get nicked off the car but please advise if anyone knows how.

Cheers Steve

Unscrew it all the way and then yank on it like there's no tomorrow.

FYI, smaller 3rd party antennas often give terrible reception.

I use a modified Lexus RX300 antenna which gives great results as it's helically wound (like a rubber duck, good buddy), but is nice and small.

Pics?

Coming from a 1/2 modifed astra, the skoda i think look understated and i love it when the Corsa numptys try it on, and not i race anywhere u just float away. As u can all tell iam loving the car. Cheers for the advice. and ill try get some pics online of the few tweeks ive made.
