Octavia RS (on std wheels) burnt out in Rathfarnham, Dublin

Featured Replies

at least it wasn't mine. i've got mine back although looking at the sorry state of her i wish she had been burnt out too. as you probably know she was used in an aggravated robbery in barnsley' date=' roughly 200 miles away from where it was taken.

That's not blood on the back seat is it?

Don't think so. The standard spoiler is on the ground in one of the pics. I'd go with a silver one.

They came with a standard spoiler

Kit spoke to cops and no RS's have been reported, I put up a post there to see best way of finding VIN no., was thinking about passing it onto Cops, Skoda to let owner know (I know they won't obviously give me owners details).

A bit strange ...

Also possible it could be a NI or UK car :)

That's a shame to see someone's car destroyed like that. It's the first time I've had a car that scallies might want -I've noticed quite a few people looking at it when I've been driving it...

Fingers crossed nobody takes it or damages it trying.

ps. When I worked in Dublin I was amazed by the huge number of burnt-out cars (and evidence of previously burnt-out cars) around the outskirts of the city and the Wicklow mountains. They were everywhere! Kids joy-riding around Lucan on old horses and ponies was also quite amusing :)!

 That area is now a major shopping centre, Liffey Valley

This was only 2-3 years ago! I guess the same people are still in the area, they've just been moved to newer houses! I liked living in Dublin for 6 months, but I stayed in Ballsbridge, which was a bit different...
