We ordered our new VRS estate in November and it should be ready in March with the new registration. Anyway, the car was for my wife and I would then have her ten year old Nissan.

However my wife has a new job and dropped the bombshell that she would use the Nissan as the narrow country lanes pitted with pot holes and pointy out bits of tree would damage the new car. So I get the new car  , the only annoyance is that she specifically wanted another black car, I don't like black as its a pain to keep clean and shows all marks and scratches.

Roll on March!

Now to look for front and rear dash cams and possible a roof box.

See if the colour can be changed.depends in where it is in the system

When I rang on Monday it was being built this week, I can live with black, but with black wheels and black pack might look a bit OTT.

Cannot wait to listen to ACDC on my commute to work, at the moment I have no stereo in my car and its falling apart

The colour suits it, just sort yourself out a regular cleaning regime and you'll be fine.

AC/DC eh? Back in Black springs to mind. :)

I'll get me coat...

Good sealant and wax will help! Check out the styling section ;)

Enjoy!! :)

The dealer chucked in supaguard inside and out, I have read mixed reviews about this, I wanted something to try & stop the bird poo as my drive has an overhead telephone line and all the local pigeons hang out and splat whatever is below.

My 5 year old is into ACDC at the moment as they done a load of songs for Iron Man, I had to tick the Canton option

You are getting a black vRS with black pack and a roofbox !

I hope the roofbox is also black to match, and why didn't you just buy the bigger superb rather than spoiling the look with a roofbox, or am I missing something.

Sorry I should have said that the roof box is not going to be permanent, just for occasions like holidays where I will be driving and I would not want to risk damaging my fishing rods with luggage full of kids clothing and all that goes with it.

It's being built in this week, but you don't get it till march, thats a long boat ride man!

Mmmmm, ordered in Mid November, the sales rep did say late Feb early March so I cannot complain.

Having a black vRS with black pack, I can vouch for it as it looks fab and menacing when clean but does show up the dirt. As said keep up the cleaning regime, careful with the sponge (don't let the guys in the supermarket carpark clean it with very little water!) and get some Poorboys blackhole, sorted  :p

The reason I didn't get black was because of keeping it clean so went with race blue, however black on black looks awesome and menacing at the same time.

Personally I would de-badge the hatch apart from the "VRS", fit the exhaust trims from the 230 (black), and change the front and rear Skoda badges for black ones (superskoda) to finish the ALL black theme, but that's just me!

Note to self, GROW UP and stop modding cars (I'm coming up mid 50's!)

That's looks well smart ^^^^^
