Choice of New Car - Superb SE-L 150ps 4x4 or Octavia Scout 184ps 4x4 DSG

Recommended Posts

My last three Skodas have been Black Magic, Silver and Candy white.

I fancied blue for a change, so I went for Petrol blue metallic. I think it suits the car's proportions nicely.

I think this one is Petrol blue......

All sorted. Getting ordered in the morning! So excited. Going to be a long 4 months!

At least you will be getting the car when the weathers hopefully improving ! I've not had a chance to sort my paintwork out properly yet !

hehe.... Unfortunately most of the time the Mrs is in the car.... This changes the 280 petrol red devil into the equivalent of a 110 diesel ;-)

Oh, we've been oop north & back on Mon / Tuesday & I've been encouraged to" get a move on" quite a few times after the hold-ups from the lorry racing on the A1.

FWIW I was driving her car, & the paddles did get used, especially when recovering from the 56 mph moving road blocks.

Two flicks of a finger & it's off, great fun, IMVHO of course

If we ever spring for a Superb 3, then paddles will be added to the list of toys.

Keeping your caravan nose weight correct is the key to good towing with front wheel drive. Too heavy and the back of the car will go down, front will go up and traction will be bad. Put too much weight in the back of the van though and it will see saw the car around. It's a balancing act. Just my 2p worth. Best of luck with the new car.
