Buying VCDS; Ilexa or Genda?

Featured Replies

I think I'd like to buy VCDS as I have a few things I would like to do on both our cars.

Does anyone have a strong preference to which supplier is best for customer service?

Thanks

Likewise.... I was in the same position last week.

Used Gendan in the end... Great service.

Ordered Monday... Arrived with DPD on Tuesday.

...all good so far :)

Thanks for the heads up

I've bought from Gendan a couple of times, very helpful and quick.

I've also heard good things about Illexa.

Another one for Gendan

I ordered on a Sunday evening, it was at my house Tuesday morning.

Couldnt ask for anything better tbh.

Another for Gendan, ordered on a Monday and recieved next day.

I've used Gendan - but Ilexa are as good from what i have read on here.

I'm sure with only 2 official suppliers Ross-tech seam to be very picky about who sells their product and if one of them stepped over the mark then they wouldn't be selling it any more.

Got mine from Marshalls Industrial, Great service and next day delivery.

I notice Marshalls show a case supplied but the others don't. Best ring to see if they do!

Probably depends what package you get.

If its just one cable.. A case isnt really needed tbh. I keep mine in a bag.

Mine is from ilexa. All went smoothly. :)
