Featured Replies

Bloody hell, He's one lucky bloke...

Best call out Recovery to Recover you to a safe place to change the wheel,

personally i would be devastated if someone was killed changing my wheel.

That's one very lucky bloke!

Now I'm home I've just watched the video - clucking bell  :o .

I had a rear offside tyre blowout on the M25 - in the first few years of it being opened. It was just as traffic was feeding in from a sliproad so I couldn't pull across for a while. Had to unload the boot to get to the spare (on my way home fro Uni) and change the tyre in 10 second sprints, running back behind the car every time a car approached.

Looking back I don't know how I had the nerve to do it! When I had another rear tyre go, this time on an unlit stretch of the A64 I carried on to the next junction and pulled onto a side road to swap the tyre!

HATOs.

Highways Agency Traffic Officers, (Black & Yellow vehicles) there to assist the Constabulary or just get on with it when those boys and girls in blue are otherwise occupied.
