:) Maybe... I think any convertible diesel is wrong. That render isn't the worst and notable we're missing any form of coupe or convertible.

At least it's boot will be bigger than any other in class.

I'd prefer a coupe with some grunt ;)

Having got a BMW E46 330Cd - 6-cyl diesel - convertible I can tell you it's a fantastic car, and rare too as it was a run out model. Huge torque, no nasty diesel 'rattle' and 40+ mpg. Perhaps being an IL6 lump helps, but the soundtrack is pretty good.

If Skoda ever made a Superb 3 CC, I'd be in the queue.

Looks good. I particularly like the 2+2.

VW wouldn't allow it.

It's backside looks very big to me, should it be called 'The Kardashian'??? ;-)

No, too many people would buy it! Shame.

Well, my little EOS makes 250 hp, & seems to be grunty enough, ("perky" according the the last guy who road-tested it) but it could use a bigger boot, so a CC Superb with the 280 ps lump would be a nice car for a European Touring holiday.

That is a fantastic looking motor.I always found the biggest problem with convertibles was the rear room for taking family for a drive etc with the roof down,if the legroom wasn't affected this would definitely be on my wish list!!!
