It's not as simple as that. ignoring the sensor thing for now, the Photographer is the oft quoted most important element, then the lens, then the camera. There are many considerations about cameras though. Mirrorless or SLR and the autofocus of each. DSLR seem to have superior autofocus to Mirrorless at the moment, which is important for sports and wildlife shooters. Frame rates, noise (due to processing circuitry), speed of buffer clearing, handling, viewfinder etc all play a part. If I had to have a Sony sensor I'd personally choose the Nikon because of their large lens collection, but Sony is catching up slowly.
