Their loss, I'm down to London pretty much every week in mine and really couldn't think of a better vehicle for motorway driving.

ACC is a Godsend when you've got a 220 mile trip to do..

They need to deliver cars for them to be 'obviously' popular.... Also, £20k plus is relatively cheap for this type of car, but is still a lot of money

So are you suggesting that there's a manufacturing bottleneck? That wouldn't quite square with the claim that lead times are still 12 weeks (with exceptions for certain specs). Or maybe just that they're still new.

I wonder what countries represent what percentage of the output?

Spotted in Mold at 1700 today was SE L Exec hatchback KJ15EBM which is/was a Skoda UK press car:

 

 

This is the first Superb 3 I've seen properly on the road (bar the reflection of mine in shop windows). The last I saw was a black estate a few weeks after launch in October last year and that was a fleeting glance across a roundabout.

KJ15 looked very nice in the fading daylight, especially with the tail light boot sections lit

Saw a Dark Grey Estate at the A331 junction close to the Aldershot Skoda dealer yesterday. Could have been their demo though. It was too clean compared to my multi tone brown one!

I've seen a total of three Mk3 Superbs to date: Biz grey hatch, Candy white estate and a dark blue estate one was an SE and the other two were SE-Ls I believe. Quite surprising given the number of miles I drive, and I'm always in and around London. 

 

Obviously this will change in the coming months. Especially as I collect mine in 2 weeks.

Business Grey Hatch around London might have been me? I live on the London/Surrey border and have only seen two others - one hatch at night a few months ago in Weybridge and one SE/SE Business (I could tell from the rear lights) hatch in the city.

Did a trip to Birmingham this weekend too and was surprised at how many BMW 5 series owners there are... But was definitely not surprised at how many people stare and gaze at the Superb! Such a sharp looking car

I've not been aware of any stares/gazes, but I guess it's hard to tell sometimes if you're concentrating on the driving....

The only place where staring has been obvious to me is when driving a new model car on the Autobahn and the car that's passing you at Warp Factor 5 suddenly throws anchors to get a really good ogle before zooming off again.

It didn't happen this time in my new Superb - but that was most probably because now it was my turn to do all the passing!!!

 

So far I've seen a total of zero other Superb III's on the roads in my neck of the woods and, allowing a bit of vanity to creep in, that (no doubt brief-lived) uniqueness feels good.

I do have a surreptitious look around while waiting at lights, etc, and have been a little disappointed. My sister-in-law assumed it was a Lexus...

I saw another one today. It was an estate in Cappuccino beige, possibly an SE-L. It was on the A24 just outside Dorking. 

Saw my first one on Sunday A46 Evesham white estate looked like se (dam I thought I was going to be first one in my area) 

I haven't see one yet in the wild other than my own that is, Merseyside Area enjoying the exclusivity, getting a few looks as well. the kebab delivery guy nearly fell over coming down the driveway as he was craning his neck to try to see what car it was. I got a nod of approval.

Spotted a SE Business in White (looked like candy while) - it had the Helios or Zeus wheels on it, (was going 10mph ish) on the M1 yesterday..

 

I had ordered candy white first but switched to Business grey, im glad i did as the candy white colour was not for me for sure now.

Spotted 5 different Superbs' today. All around Northamptonshire

Since I collected my car in Jan I haven't seen a single Superb other than my neighbours one in the SW London area.

 

Nice not seeing anyone else drive a similar car

After seeing just two others in the first 4K on mine I've seen two today in the space of 20 mins. White SE/SE bus estate and a black SE/SE bus estate (identical to mine), one just outside Exeter and the other in honiton.

Not my first, third I think but....

 

Was coming off the M61 slip northbound onto M60 last night when car in inside lane moved up beside me, had a quick look over and had to do a double take because it was like looking in the mirror!

 

It was another SE Business estate in Moon White with Stratos wheels. Was tempted to toot and wave but as it was a single female driver thought better of it

Spotted a Moon White SE (or Business) estate pottering around Cambridge with me yesterday (daft idea to go exploring the beautiful University town with SWMBO when there was a marathon on this weekend!)

Hoped I'd have spotted more on route there/back from London on the M11 but the Octy ruled the road in terms of Skoda presence.

A blue Combi went past me yesterday on the A303 early afternoon heading east just past Andover! Otherwise few and far between, but I do keep seeing transporter loads on their way to customers!

To be fair you don't see that many mk2 Superbs around anyhow.

I have only seen two S3s on the road ever and I know both were being driven by someone who is a salesman at my local franchise dealership , so looking forward to being one of the very few around for a little while at least on Wednesday week

Noticed my first superb out in the wild yesterday morning. Grey not to sure of trim. Seen at sandringham estate car park, she did look lovely:-)

Seem to be a few more about now have spotted 2 hatchbacks this week while out and about but spotted my first estate on Saturday it was a red one in Norwich and looked very nice.
