Hi All,

 

I have a Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDI 2006 model. Two days ago suddenly on my dash board engine light turns on and then i went and check with a mechanic and he told me about the following error codes in my car 

 

P0243 : Turbocharger / supercharger mechanical waste gate solenoid valve A
P0489 : Exhaust gas recirculation A control circuit low
 
 
The mechanic also informed me that may be the engine light will turn off if i run the car at around 100 km/ h speed for some time because it is related to some exhaust.
 
 
What does these error code exactly means? How dangerous it is to drive the car with it? There is no apparent sound or any problem in my car and its running fine. I am just afraid that may be problem now is small but if don't address it now it can become big latter on.
