Can anyone tell me what changes have been made to MY16 vehicles, and when do they take effect from ?

If it follows the same as the Superb II, info on MY changes start to leak about this time of year but are officially announced anytime between April to July and usually come into effect around September.

MY years always take the following year number, so the current model should be MY16 and the next update/facelift would be MY17.

Yeah front parking sensors were always standard on SE business

Over here, KESSY becomes standard on Style models and towbar prep. becomes standard across the range. Oh, almost forgot, prices will go up.

The MY change is usually in June, which stands to reason as the Sportline is rumoured to be released in week 22 (which is May 30th)

 

The S3 started it’s life in the UK as a MY16 car, MY17 will be in June 2016

MY16 covers cars produced after W22.

 

From 2016*, a Phone box with wireless charging and an enhanced mobile signal will also be standard, meaning driver’s phones will always be charged without the need to plug in.

* Available from week 22, 2016

Isn't the first MK3 Superb MY16? I thought the OP was interested in changes in 2016 - MY17, but got the terminology wrong.
