Skoda keep ordering the wrong connector for me. will look at it again this week

Here i found some interest adapter for mp3 on stream.

Finally got a couple of hours free so I acheived the following:

1. Aux adapter installed (behind climate control panel) and it works a treat. Had to butcher the standard connector because it was for the older stream radio but no real bother there.

2. Parrot CK-3100 re-installed (now i have a decent crimping tool)

3. Power supply cable installed for Mio A201 sat nav

4. Power supply cable installed for Nokia Phone in (former) ashtray

5. Power supply cable installed for Radar detector to top of windscreen

Phases 2 & 3 planned for May probably

Phase 2 - Install mstation mp3 player in boot and dashmount controller

Phase 3 - Install Acoustic Solutions DAB receiver, glass mount antenna and

dashmount controller

Phase 4 - Suss out the line out connections on the stream HU and look at installing a small amp and sub

Not even the official Ipod adapter works on the Audience at the moment (Skoda are trying to sort that out), so apart from a headphone jack FM transmitter like this, you are out of luck.

Visteon who manufacture the stream and Audience HU's say that a hardware enable is required and a re-flash of the firmware to get the cd changer input on the Audience active. If you can manage that then theres no problem using an aftermarket aux adapter like mine.

Try telling that to the Skoda technical bods.

I know this is digging up a very old thread........but did anyone ever get their Audience HU sorted out out in this way by Skoda or anyone else for that matter ???

I'm desperate, I could really do without stumping up for a Columbus.
