Parking Sensors visual?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I used to frequent this forum back in my Octavia owning days (2010-2012) but jumped ship due to various mechanical failures and didn't want to own the car out of warranty. Ive decided to give Skoda another go and I have a Superb SE Business on order (delivery May-ish) but was wondering if the parking sensors give a visual display anywhere or just audio. My current Peugeot gives an audio and visual display and I find the visual bit very useful. Not the end of the world if is doesn't but just curious!

Thanks

Visual display and audio.

Yes their is a visual display.

Yes it is a very good system with both visual and audio. The visual is very good with precise location markers.

You can shut off the audio signal if you wish (at  least you can on my L&K). The constant pinging with different sounds for front and rear can get a bit like a demented supermarket till. bing bing bong bing bong bong. (but hopefully not a bang!)

My drive has a right hand 90 degree turn with low walls on either side with some overhanging plants--plays a real symphony evrytiome I leave.

I believe this is basically how it shows:

And with the rear camera

Maybe that's because your picture has front and back but it looks nothing like that on mine. The rear parking sensor display basically looks like it dis on the Bolero on my old Scout.

Or maybe because the first picture is from the old Columbus  :o

At least it highlights the improvement in screen quality!
