Vrs better brakes....!?

Just wondering what brake upgrades people have done? Seen as standard aren't too great!

I know some people use brackets and the Porsche calipers, but has anyone done any other things?

Also has anyone's touched the rears?

Cheers!

Nope only needed to top up brake fluid and refit wheels, mine was a 1.6tdi a little bit more work was needed than doing it to a vrs

I had to fit vrs front hubs so fitted coilovers while I was at it

Are any of the bigger discs a straight swap? So no need to replace or modify anything to get them on?

Would aftermarket centre discs be better than standard ones of the next size up?

the r32 ones are a straight swap and no need for spacers too but need 17s minimum

Nice. Are they Tarox discs? Same size as the standard ones? Would you have a link at all?

323 mm setup . lemme see if i can find a link

there you go http://www.tarox.co.uk/product/tarox-brake-kit-volkswagen-polo-6r-all-models-with-288mm-discs-sports-compact-kmvw0986/

other colors then black will cost you 200 extra

will fit with standarts with spacers

Hi,

Just wondering as i am looking at just putting upgraded discs and pads into original calipers until i invest in other performance upgrades. what are the original calipers in the VRS 1.4 TSI, TRW, Girling, ATE?? Thanks

ATE on the VRS. I wouldn't bother with "upgraded" standard size discs. Just lots of money for minimal heat dissipation advantage from drilled/grooved pattern.

Money better spent on better pads, either EBC Yellow Stuff or Ferodo DS Range
