The beige interior isn't for me but I really love the lines on the Mk3. Looks a bit sharper and more aggressive than the Mk2 FL.

Loving the colour as well. Enjoy your new Superb!

I would have gone with black if I could. I asked the question but was point blank told 'nope'. The brown leather itself is OK but I just can't stand the other bits of brown trim all over the car!

Are the door cards built a bit better on the new one? I feel like the ones in mine let it down a little bit, the door handle up is fine but the grab handle just looks a bit cheap.

I had a good play with the Rosso Brunello SE Business estate in the show room (a rare car now, if anyone wants one, it's there for the taking!) and the door cards and grab handle look and feel good.

The door card itself feels soft to the touch. The cards on my Mk2 have bits of hard plastic on them which have always bugged me. Also, the Mk2's horizontal grab handle near the window switches isn't the nicest design is it.

This thread makes me happy I switched our order to petrol blue. Enjoy it (when March rolls around!). :)

Thank you

Seeing the car today in a mix of sunshine and shade has totally vindicated my decision to switch from Quartz grey to Petrol blue.

I've seen countless pictures and videos of Superbs in that colour, but it's not a proper substitute for seeing it with your own eyes. I am very pleased with my choice of colour

That was our exact colour swap too. :D

Did not swap colours here. Petrol Blue was always the obvious choice and can't wait. Should get mine first week in March and I also not only chose beige I think it looks far better than Black would have ever done. Great looking car but the hatch imo looks even smarter . Enjoy

Very nice indeed! That is what I'd have gone for if I couldn't find one in Rosso. What options did you spec and what engine/box did you go for?

It's a CR190 DSG (not 4x4). Obviously it's an L&K but I added:

Ventilated seats

Premium WLAN + Bluetooth plus/phonebox

Spare wheel

Luggage dividing net

Smart light assist

Reversing camera

Variable boot floor

3 spoke steering wheel with paddle shift

Crew protection/rear side airbags

Heated washer nozzles

19" Phoenix Anthracite wheels

4th year/80,000 mile warranty

.....and breathe.......

I considered travel assist but that's a coding tweak, and all of the relevant hardware is already there.

I've got rear rubber floor mats and rubber trans. tunnel protector (flamin' kids!), rear bumper protector, Philips LEDs for the rear indicators and front fog lights. I've also got the OEM iPad holder for the rear passengers, namely the kids for long journeys.

And the obligatory boot floor protector, roof bars and a 3m pipe carrier for the roof as and when needed. It's primarily a work car after all! I'm not putting 3m lengths of refrigeration copper pipe over THAT interior!

Very sweet. Couple of options I'd have liked there but I bought mine off the showroom floor so had to go with the factory spec which only included the pano roof, 19" Phoenix rims in Anthracite and steel spare over the standard L&K spec but it was the colour and interior I wanted so had to compromise. I intend to get a paddle equipped wheel and code the TSR system. It's a phenomenal car and you will love it. Well worth the wait.
