Good news!

From my experience The coding is specific to Columbus DAB and non Dab for models from 2010 to 2011 using the Skoda enhanced sound system(10 speaker).

I have coded three cars in the 2010 to 2011 range with this coding.

If you have experience of using different coding it would be helpful if you could post this information.

 

Just to explain further now I've got the laptop in front of me. The long coding you supplied 00060002000000810000 equals no cd changer/MDI/AUX port installed, VW Sound system installed, active speakers, Microphone diagnostics active, no back up camera installed, linear equalisation, European DAB enabled, MFSW installed, no voice control, enabled BAP communication protocol, no speed limit signs showing on the maps, and no OPS system installed.

Now if that's your vehicle then that's okay, but if you apply this coding to a car with OPS reversing system then you'll lose the graphic display on the head unit. Also, you'll lose the back up camera if installed, you'll enable MFSW even if there isn't one fitted and throw an error for that, and all the other specific features of the car which the long coding doesn't have.

It will make the DAB work, and it'll make the Sound System function, but it's not the correct coding for the car and all the other stuff will be missing...
