Right, dragging the thread back on topic........

Anyone got a digital copy of last nights Top GEar that they could burn to CD or DVD for us? I missed it due to stuffing my face with Chinese food and I've just seen there is NO TUESDAY REPEAT because of naffing SNOOKER.......

It's repeated next week instead of this week if you missed it

any engineering feat is worth it if pushes te boundarys.....

And I think this weeks episode has generated more separate threads than anything else , except perhaps pictures of Mil

Agreed, Audi are building a Diesel race car but those that have tried before always suffer transmission trouble due to the Diesels torque. So having built a transmission that can take all that power will help with the race car which in turn will help with higher powered production Diesels. That could mean a DSG box that can take some serious power in the not too distant future so we all win.

Its also great to see Audis approach, they decide to build a stunning super car & do it properly. Ford with all their resources come up with the GT, just another characterless box wrapped round a big V8, thats been done just a few times before

They wouldnt put it round the TG track incase they wrote it off or couldnt get the insurance to cover it incase of an accident.

Pretty damn quick, about the same speed as an Hyabusa Turbo :)

Hmmm... Is it the plan to have a helicopter flying overhead to achieve inflight re-fuelling? Don't think it will go at 252 mph if it has to pull a fuel tanker behind it...

Do you think the guys on Pimp My Ride will tart up the next Ford Escort to look like that? (And claim it's Rover of course, LOL)

Agreed but I know I would rather be in a rocket rather than hanging on to the outside

How much to remove the limiter, and what would the new top speed be ?

Having read the Autocar 6 page review, you can keep ALL the other Supercars around, this should have its own categogry - ULTIMATE SUPERCAR.

BTW How many people would like to have a 10 - 15 min drive ?

You guys are just plain mean now.

And Pixi, I told you not to let your head wonder. Now you've made me look like a mexican guitar player.

And there are so many damn pictures of me everywhere I'm putting the wrong posts in the wrong threads!
