I've just chromed the standard grill on my furby, but now I'm a little uncertain as to the effect.:o

Here's a pic (night time unfortunately, but you can still make it out):

i dont think it looks that bad, if you like it, thats all that matters.

not sure if i would tho.

cant really make it out that much. Your headlights look nice, are they Xenons? Or uprated bulbs? They look nice and blue.

WIll

it's not bad, but I remember someone colour coding the original grill to the car colour and it looking awesome.

Thanks for the opinions. It's the 3M chrome stuff so if I get to hate it, I can remove it easily. :)

The headlights are uprated bulbs . . . . but they're not turned on, what you can see is the white LED sidelights which have 'filled' the reflectors because of the long shutter time.

I think it looks pretty good - some of these Fabs and Octy's look a bit bland from the front ( depends upon the colour ) and that brings some detail to the front . Good .

Looks OK, but I always think the standard grill is just a little bit too pipe and slippers. :D

looks good m8.... id still go with what i told u about moving that TDi badge slightly lower and over.

I think the chrome grille looks the part on the vRS. It's when you fit the 'sports grille' colour coded, it looks Boy racer & Max Power affected. Each to thier own eh ? :)

I think the chrome version looks nice.

Give up smoking then!!!

looks good, didnt think it would have to be honest it suits your car

id agree with richard on the badge though

Yeah, unfortunately with the badge, it'd be very much a case of taking it off then buying a new one. Also, I've had to fit the chrome around it. It's no problem if I get another TDi badge though, I can just re trim the chrome and stick the badge on top. Problem is fixing the 'T' - it's wide but there's no way of attatching it without making a plate for it to sit on, which I'd rather not do as I think it looks a lot worse than having the badge straight on the grille.

cant we have a day shot?

 still looks good though well done

Again, a day pic would help. Looks pretty decent from the night pic. And I'd take the TDI badge off all together, but if you like it, keep it :)

It's changed again! Now the TDi badge has been relocated and the chrome removed. I think the problem was the chrome was making the grill look a bit 'forward', when the rest of the front of the car is restrained. Kinda unbalanced it.

I'm happier with the old look again, even if it does look more run of the mill.

..even if it does look more run of the mill[/b'].

You wanna run me up bbbeeee@@@tch? :D

You wanna run me up bbbeeee@@@tch?

What does this mean?

Mill, I think you may have misinterpreted what he meant by run of the mill.

It's a saying over here that means "its just normal" or something to that affect. I expect it came from the old wheat mills or windmills.

I dont think he was trying to say anything to you. :D

I'm pretty sure Mill was just messing about with the words - at leats I hope so anyway!

Exactly what he said ^

And I thought I was the one who took things serious in here :D

I was kidding man. My name is Milton, short Mil, and you said 'run of the mill', so I decided to play around, but obviously it wasn't funny...:grumpy:

i would fit the small badge from the bootlid down in the bottom left corner of the grill.

Along the lines of your avatar then?? :)
