I enjoyed hunting down and overtaking the Lotus Exiege and VX220 Turbo in this vid. We were very closely matched!

Was worried mine wouldn't be able to handle this as its not got a fmic and possibly overheat.

Thanks to Richard for organising the day, really enjoyed it, was a great range of cars on track all day, and very little in the way of bad driving from other track user's. Had no problems the car survived intact, must of wore the brakes out though, on the way home after a couple of slow downs due to traffic started to get a lot of metal on metal noise, on inspection this morning front nearside and offside rear down to backing plate the other two have about a fag paper thickness of pad left, new disc and pads all round, a job for tomorrow.

 

Around 3:30 lap times going by 15:10 to 18:42 crossing the line. Don't know how good/bad that is and I'm not bothered either, but there's my video.

I let Jake loose in the RS with me as passenger and after a warming up lap (he's not driven a Fast Ford other than a Cosworth) he did a 2.56 lap with a few overtakes.

Holy cow.

I may have been hanging on a bit on the corners.

No that's the 2 door R32, mines the 4 door Mk7 and was only on track in the morning before i had to leave

It looks like you were probably having the most fun on track. Love how the fronts scraping the floor almost while the rear wheel is cocking it's leg for all to see haha.

Here's a couple of laps from myself before my brakes packed it in, I was averaging about 3:37 a lap I think towards the end, I have no idea if that's good or bad

Checked a couple of my lap times...

Seems to be around 3.10 including being held up a bit behind a slow VX220 and letting a Caterfield past me. Don't think that's too bad.
