My Fabia 1.2 Htp

Featured Replies

Hello i got my Fabia 1.2 HTP Last Monday according to data it should do just under 100 mph with good fuel economy and a low insurance rating i used to drive a VW Jetta 1.6TX which cost me a fortune to run it suits me for everyday use and the occasional long distance trip i went for this because the 54 BHP 6v would be quite underpowered. No complaints so far anyone have any tips for any problems to look out for about owning a Fabia for me it is better value and better made than the VW equivalent or indeed the Seat Ibizia anyone have any similar thoughts.

Welcome to Fabia ownership and welcome to Briskoda!

I dont recall any major problems to look out for.

I know what you mean about the build quality as my mum has just bought a new Polo SE. Now I was expecting it to feel quite plush and upmarket, but when I had a good nose around inside I couldnt really see where the extra money has been spent.

Its a bit more classy I suppose but doesnt feel any more special than the interior of the Fabia vRS I looked at over the weekend.

i have found through various hire cars that the 1.2 struggles at motorway speeds but a good allround car good choice mate

matt (FABIATDI) the chap who responded above has some lowering spring going for the fabia

Drove a Polo with this engine and was actually quite impressed. Pretty nippy in town which is where I used it and sounded quite nice too with the 3 cylinder engine! ;)
