Hello everyone, I'm considering buying a MK3 Hatchback diesel Superb.

 

My current car is a Passat witch I bought new in 03, previous to the Passat it was a MK1 Golf I'd had since buying it new in 1982.  I tend to hold on to my cars quite a while, and yep, my first car was a 'Tamworthpig' that I managed to survive !  But wow what a step up the Passat was over the Golf.  I wonder if it will be same feeling again if I go ahead and get the Superb?

Oops I should have said in my previous post, that a 'Tamworthpig' is of course a nickname for the 3 wheeled car 'Reliant' that used to be manufactured in the town of Tamworth, as well as a fine breed of pig aka Sir Bobby Peels  'Sandy Back' pig.

Hello and welcome to the forum   I think it will be a massive step up from an '03 Passat to a Superb III !  The technology and standard equipment has moved on a lot in 13 years.  There would be a very noticeable difference in refinement too.   Good luck with your decision!

13 years is a long time indeed Superb170, its quite frightening how things move on so fast, but its positive and progressive to though
