what size discs on front of 170 dsg

Featured Replies

I'm looking to buy new pads and discs but need to be certain on size?

how do I translate the pr codes?

Whip the wheel off and measure the Disc and then you will surely be sure.

I'm lazy and will measure it wrong.

Not joking.

Best let the person fitting the discs and pads get them then.

Give me the right parts and I will fit them no problem. Done a few sets now.

Seriously struggling with size though. I'm fairly sure they are 312mm but not certain.

Does anybody know?

Here's the listing from Parts Base for Superb brakes: it gives the data for different PR codes too. http://www.partsbase.org/skoda/superb-sup-eu-2012-wheels-brakes/

Disks are about half way down.

The parts place just ask for your registration and will be able to supply the exact parts for the vehicle

My 2010 170 has 312mm but as noted above there are two sizes. I measured then checked on the Brembo phone app for replacements.

312mm on our 2011 CR170 manual. My mates 2011 CR140 are 288mm....

The auto has larger disks?

My CR170 manual has 312 mm disks on the front. The DSG disks are the same as far as I know. The 3.6 V6 is the only model with bigger disks than this as far as I know.
