DSG paddle extentions help

Fitted mine last week really like them, the make a big improvement to the paddle size, I got caught out a few time before they were fitted with spirited driving and missing the paddles. One thing I would say is that I'm 6ft2 and the paddles are very close to catching my knees, any bigger and I would have had issues. The black metal paddle are nice and feel really good, not cheap or flimsy.

Yes my car does have the 3 ridges on it, however the paddle is not flat. Btw the pic is upside down for some reason

Pretty sure they are the same as mine

This is the wheel I have, as you can see the paddle is not flat, but follows the contours of the wheel.

How are they to use, much improvement?

If you use the paddles a lot to change gear then i would certainly recommend having them as it makes it easier. Regarding the look of them, i bought the black aluminium ones and they look pretty much as though they came with the car, i was worried they might look a bit tacky but they look oem

I bought the wrong ones as mine has the old style paddles so I have a set of the above that are no use to me in the bright aluminium. Now to buy another set, hopefully with more luck

I'll take a photo of mine the morra see what mine look like I fancy a set as well

no problem, enjoy

Do mine look to be the same they also have the 3 ridges

Look the same as my CTHE 13 plate.

It looks like the ones I bought for my car would fit yours. They are listed as Leon Mk2 ones

My paddles are not like A9X SJ's, so if you have the early shaped paddles (like my 2010) you need Leon mk3 paddle extensions, they fitted mine fine

It was more simple than I thought. The ones listed for Fabia Mk2 fit with no problem.

Should b getting mine for my 13 plate today with the new shape paddles, hopefully mine fit.

The difficulty seems to come not from the 2 types of steering wheels and paddles from 2010-2014 on the Fabia Mk2 vRS,

but people not looking at what they have on their car and then listening or reading what people tell them are the Extensions to suit the paddles they have on their vehicle.
