Fabia Photos, My first attempt at using an SLR...

Featured Replies

I borrowed works SLR type camera and tripod for the weekend, because I hadn't taken any good shots of the car. The weekend turned out to be pretty cold and I ended up getting the snow off, just to clean the thing!

Then following that I drove it into the muddiest place I could find, to take shots of it!:o

Let me know what you think!

Just been lookin at Paul Dowker sunset photos... puts mine to shame, but then I suppose I'm not a Photographer! ;)

great pics

I love looking at photos on here, well, except that there's often a car stuck in the way. LOL Saaaaah!

Yours are great, especially the one with the telephone lines going off into the "perspective horizon"(?) and the other one where the telegraph pole and gubbins is in perfect focus against the background. These are for our history books, given we'll soon all be on underground cables and Skype or whatever.

Perhaps you should copyright your next ones before posting them to the Net?

Edit: Sorry, it's too late at at night: Once you've posted them on the Net they're in the public domain of course. I must

start going to bed earlier.)

My two cents

Mo

A good effort

Which SLR were you using? Digital-SLR I'm presuming?

Mo,

I post some pics up of my car, and you seemed to be more interested in telephones wires... not a passion of yours is it? :D

Not too keen on the fisheye-type front and back shots, but the others are excellent! Moody shots that compliment the car very well.

Well done!

Very nice indeed. My fave being the bottom one. Nice car too. ;)

Must "phone a friend" to find out.

:D

Edit: A guy has apparently had his company phone confiscated after his g/f ran up a bill of £280 from calling Big Brother. Seems I might not be the only one with an interest in phone lines...

It was a Minolta Dimage A2, 8.0MP, it's a great camera, and sits nicely between the point and shoot type and the fully fledge professional equipment!

I really want one for myself now...:o

Hi

I have a Minolta A1 for sale. This is the 5 MP version. Slightly lower resolution viewfinder, but less image noise and more useable in lower light.

The camera is as new and boxed with original battery and charger and will even throw in a CF card to get you started. Selling as I now use a 7D.

PM me if interested.
