Engine cleaned with some cheap Astonish engine degreaser - good stuff for £1.50 a bottle

Nice. Only think I don't like is the thought of having LPG.... Just doesn't float my boat. But looks nice man. What's the mileage?

Have had a LPG before, albeit on a v8 landrover, and to be fair never had a problem. Only downside is that the tank is in the spare wheel well. The conversion was done when it was 15 miles old, and it is now on 147k, so no detrimental effects, in fact LPG runs cleaner than petrol

Two weeks in and loving the vRS - until last night when a coil pack decided to go down on me :( oh well, new set of Delphi coils ordered this morning, changing them lunchtime

Coils replaced, and purring like a kitten again :) removed 2 NGK coils, and 2 VAG coils, which had an August 08 production date on them

First long run today (200 miles to Stafford and back) averaged 42 mpg, well happy considering my landy averaged 28!

For those that are interested - this is the light output from the H4 LED bulbs

New front and rear shocks ordered today from TPS - shocked (!) at the price compared to aftermarket ones - £37.14 each front, £26.55 each rear! Just need to order the top mounts and the anti roll bar links now

Top mounts (Front and Rear), Front anti roll bar links and a full filter service kit all ordered - my poor bank account is going to take a hammering this month :(

Welcome to VRS ownership  :p

To be fair it's all weighing in at just over £250 for all of it, so not too bad really. Cost double that for the intercooler on my disco (hmmm, wonder if it would fit the vRS???)

How does the beam pattern look with the LED's?

I tried some in my Mk3 Mondeo but the beam was scattered all over the place.

Since found they are good in projector lenses as the lens directs the beam where it needs to be but utter carp in halogens due to the light bouncing off the reflector in different directions.

I've got some projector lenses to fit in my headlights, so I can fit the LED bulb kit.

Beam pattern is spot on, went through the MOT fine as well, did need the aim adjusting slightly though.
