400 mile 65 plate 1.6TDI S Hatchback at non Skoda dealer

Featured Replies

Looking at their stock of new cars it would seem they purchase through brokers at cheap prices to sell on.  Question is why a base Superb when rest of their stock are RR, M powered, 911's, Mercs, BMW, S and RS powered Audis...

Looks like they just got it offered cheap i reckon !

Not far from me, that... Base spec entry level diesel, so a Taxi purchase gone wrong, maybe?

Is that a button for an electric boot on it too by the gear stick?

Maybe, would be a prime candidate for that. It's Kent registered so quite a way from home.

I was wondering that too, need someone without elec boot to confirm whether or not that button is standard, could be a simple boot release function?

I dont have that button there.

No it’s not standard and not even available as an option on the S according to my brochure (it is however a £400 option on the SE)

It does have the correct 16” Orion wheels so it must be an S, I can only assume Škoda have made a mistake when building it (as they did with several SE Business models... options included that were not ordered)

registered from Sheerness Docks like many of the fleet cars. All of Enterprise Rent a Car Skodas are GF reg plates.

and no climate control with the basic radio.

Friday afternoon built S version.

Dont be surprised if the VIN doesnt match!!! Well known dodgy garage!! Something will be fishy about it!

That's the electric boot button alright, same location as mine. Maybe this is one of those early ones where the auto boot came unspecced.
