2011 Skoda Superb Estate 3.6 v6 Elegance DSG 4x4 5dr with FSH and MOT until 14/04/17

Updated 15/04/16

For sale Skoda Superb Estate 2011 in Steel Grey Metallic and it is low mileage with only 44,480 miles on which will rise steadily as it is my daily driver. The vehicle has full service history, documented below, and has just had a fresh MOT with no advisories and runs until 14/04/17.
I have just transferred my private plate off the vehicle and it is now showing its original registration which is DE11 YML which is HPI clear and I also have just received the V5 back from the DVLA.
The car will be due a minor service which has been booked at Awesome GTI in Manchester (a well known VAG specialist) for Friday 22 April so the car will want for nothing.
The car has been the best vehicle I have owned and if it wasn’t for another young child on the way and needing a 6 seater+ vehicle I would be keeping it for many more years. Please take your time to read through the specification below:

Registered new 03/05/2011
18” Thermisto alloys with Uniroyal Rainsport 3 Tyres 225/40/18
6 speed DSG gearbox with steering wheel paddleshift
ABS, ESP Traction Control and XDS
4 Wheel drive Haldex System
Launch Control
Hill Hold Control
Alarm and immobiliser
Remote central locking
Rear parking sensors
Power steering
Climate control (dual)
Electric windows front and rear
Heated electric mirrors (electric fold)
Cruise control
Multi-function steering wheel
Full colour satellite navigation system (Columbus System) with 32GB SD card which I will leave in
Hard disc music player (MP3/CD cards) with Aux port
Bluetooth for mobile phone
Full black leather interior
Electrically adjustable memory front seats
Heated front seats
Automatic lights
Rain sensing wipers
Full size spare wheel
Front headlight washers

Upgrades

Additions I have made since owning the car:

  • LED lights in Daytime running light (DRL’s) and Sidelights which match the main beam xenon lights and look a lot more modern.
  • Went to a kind Briskoda member with VCDS to encode:
  • Large mph on maxidot display which is useful for motorway driving in those 50mph zones!
  • Alarm chirp on locking
  • Seat exit adjustment which moves the seat back a couple of inches to allow you to exit the vehicle easier
  • Activated Hill hold control (HHC) which means when you are on an incline the car doesn’t roll back and XDS which is an advanced electronic differential lock which is linked to the Electronic stability system (ESP) and helps increase grip.
  • Facelift badges for wheel centre caps, front grill, steering wheel and boot which again give it a lot more modern look
  • Pipercross Panel Filter from AMD Tuning, Shark Performance ECU remap and Shark Performance DSG remap. Shark remap rolling roaded at 260 bhp in 2014 although when I get the car serviced at Awesome GTI I am going to rolling road the car again to get a more up to-date figure. The DSG remap just makes an already great gearbox into a slightly slicker and quicker changing one.
  • Pioneer Active Subwoofer fitted in the spare wheel well inside the spare wheel which makes the sound system sound a lot better as it takes the bass out of the speakers. This has a remote control in the glove box which can adjust the gain and frequency and can also be turned completely down if you have the children in the car. This is nothing that will win a sound off but it gives a nicer balance to the overall sound in the car.
  • New Facelift steering wheel with paddle shift which links to the DSG box
  • Tinted Windows from the B Pillar back
  • Armrest storage holder which sits just inside the armrest and is useful for your wallet/phone..etc.

Servicing

The car is currently on variable servicing and it has the following services:

1st Service 23/08/13 18,387 miles at Skoda Garage Robert Eardley and Son, Crewe Cheshire
2nd Service 16/06/14 27,718 miles Castrol Edge 5w – 30 Oil and filter change by myself on purchasing the car
3rd Service 15/05/15 36,822 miles at Awesome GTI Manchester VAG Specialist which was a full service including Haldex Service, DSG Service and Brake Fluid Chance
4th Service – To be completed Friday 22 April at Awesome GTI and I will update once this has been completed

Also the engine is chain driven so no need to worry about replacing the cambelt as it doesn’t have one.

6 Speed DSG Gearbox

Smooth and seamless shifts and you can’t even tell that it changes gears sometimes! Links in perfectly with the flappy paddles on the steering wheel and is even better in sports mode.

Required to be serviced every 40,000 miles and this was done at 36,822 when it was serviced.

4 Wheel Drive Haldex System

Again this performs seamlessly and provides excellent grip in the rain and from a standing start. Required to be serviced every 40,000 miles and this was done at 36,822 along with the DSG.

Wheels and Tyres

The only real bad point on the vehicle if you want to be picky is that one of the wheels (wheel 4 in the pictures) has some curb marks and if you want it to be absolutely perfect you would probably want it to be powder coated and then resprayed. I will show individual pictures of wheels for your info.
Tyres - Uniroyal Rainsport 3 tyres fitted and full tracking completed at 30,100 miles in October 2014 at ABC Car Service in Leeds which are well known by many as an expert in car suspension set up. The wheels were rotated at 43,800 miles in March 16 and the fronts currently have 5mm of tread and the rears 4mm of tread.

Extras

- Included in the sale are a set of generic silver ebay roof bars which have worked perfectly with the 470l roof box and bike racks that I have
- Rubber boot mat useful for winter and wet weather.

And now onto my favourite part … Detailing.
I have always washed the car every week and below is the last detail that it had in December 2015. Since then it has been washed with Car Chem 1:1900 and topped up with Sonax BSD.

- Rinse followed by Autobrite Magifoam applied through one of their snow foam lances and another rinse
- Two bucket method using grit guards and two wash mitts (both Megs although one is a blue wash mitt specifically for the wheels) using Car Chem 1:1900 on the body work and wheels (wheels previously sealed with poorboys wheel sealant).

Used my new EZ detail brush on the wheels and wheel woolies

- Purple monster drying towel on paintwork and halfords waffle weave drying towel used on the wheels
- Iron X and Autoglym tar remover followed by a good going over with a Farecla clay mitt using a new bucket with Car Chem 1:1900 as a lubricant
- Rinsed off and dried again as per the above
- Highlighted only a couple of areas that needed a small amount of swirl removal so went over those areas with Gtechniq P1 on my DAS 6 Pro Plus followed by car pro eraser.
- By this time the tyres were dry so applied some Megs Endurance tyre gel to the tyres using a brush
- Sonax BSD applied to the doorshuts and exhaust (Previously polished with Britemax metal twins)

- Then it was onto BMD Nemesis which was lovely to apply (looks very strange on the applicator pad as it's very grainy) and it buffs off so much better than Collinite 476s.
It was buffed off using my new Car Pro BOA super plush microfibres which is nicer than my own bath towel!

And the results can be seen in the pics below!

Overall a fantastic car in excellent condition that has driven faultlessly since purchase in June 2014. I have tried to cover every aspect of the car but if there is something that I have forgotten then I will add it asap.

This is the rare 3.6L V6 version of this great car. A spacious family Estate that will do 0-60 in 6 seconds and has 4 wheel drive what more could you want?

Any inspections and test drives welcome and any questions please ask.

Price £10,995 ono
I would be willing to take a motorbike in p/x along with cash my way so if this is an option for you please let me know the details.

I have lots more pictures of the car so if you would like any more pictures please let me know.

Stunning car Chunk.....clearly wonderfully cared for and with many great and useful mods (I followed your separate thread under 'projects').

If I was in the market for (another) 3.6 this would be the one.

Good luck with what I know is a very reluctant sale....pah, kids, who needs them, eh ;)

Thanks guys my private plate has now been taken off the car and it is showing registration DE11 YML I am just awaiting the V5 in the post. ** Now added to first post**
Also I forgot to add the car is HPI clear and never been written off or stolen.
The tax is unfortunately quite high at £490 a year but believe me it's worth it! Also vehicle tax can be paid by monthly direct debit which helps spread the cost.
I have averaged 30mpg and I do a mixture of town and motorway driving.

Decided to take the car to the local independent to get the MOT done today and it passed with flying colours no advisories! MOT expiry 14/4/17 and interim service booked at Awesome GTI for Friday 22 April. *** now added to original post ****

Lovely motor. I won't bug you with 'if only' but if only I hadn't just signed on the dotted line for a 2 year lease deal I'd be stood on your doorstep now  :)
