Stolen Irish Octavia

Featured Replies

Heard today that another Octavia RS was stolen, well one of the lads seen it in a dealership getting new locks fitted after being robbed (obviously must have got the keys when locks being replaced). It had also been to a crash repair place so dunno how bad it was.

Hopefully one of the lads WILL ;) find out more.

So, Be vigilant and Keep them locked up well over the Christmas

Thats it. I'm getting a tracker.

Drinking since 2pm.... What do you think!

(BTW no driving was involved)

eh, think thats my car gaff, was on to them today and was told it was has a new lock set fitted and was waiting to be coded, hopefully have it tomorrow or friday.

the delay (two and a half weeks) was due to waiting on parts.

i miss the the car now at this stage and just hope its/drives fine.

btw , which dealers was it at ,just curious.

Key coding only takes a few minutes. Your car wasn't in Jennings was it ?

fock sake. wots goin on down there? are they reading these threads? :finger: is it just dublin they or being stolen or all over the country? :thumbdwn: the only interest people had in them years ago was to make up jokes about them now they just steal them.

As I've said elsewhere, from my time there, Dublin and the surrounding area had an amazing number of burnt-out cars and the evidence of many more. Car insurance is staggeringly expensive there too!

Blimey, I better get some secure parking for the 4x4 when I get there.
