2014 S1 will become fully appreciated sometime in the future, and a much cheapness AWD hot hatch. If VW had allowed Skoda with the Motorsport Heritage and Rallying Success to have used the parts in a road going Fabia they might have sold rather more than the few Audi got customers for.

I knew what you meant but for many a £20,000 toy is a big dream without aspiring to ones that are ten times as much more.
