Entering Lat/Long details in a Columbus

Featured Replies

I am sure that I am missing something here, but when I try to input a negative Longitude figure, eg -2.894561, theColumbus will not allow me to enter such a figure, also when trying to input the second figure greater than 5 then this is not available also.

I am sure that I am missing something but am b******d if I can see what it is.

As far as I know it doesn't accept decimal degrees .You have to use minutes and seconds.

Annoys me as I like using google maps to pinpoint where I want to go then just note the coordinates from the URL.

I bookmarked this site to convert to fractional degrees - https://www.fcc.gov/media/radio/dms-decimal

As to negative it's either 360 - your negative value or select east instead of west (i think).
