Loss of power

Featured Replies

I seem to be getting a loss of power when driving in 5th gear, Upwards of 60-70MPH, Car goes into limp mode.  After reading through the site, I thought it could be sticky turbo vanes, or maybe something needing cleaned out. I since noticed the hose coming out of the top of the engine had split. (no idea what it's called) I don't know much about cars to be honest, and wondered if this would cause the problem.

I had a friend check for Vag fault codes. 19558 and 17965

Would expect very poor running as this represents a massive leak. As it is after the MAF sensor this sensor will be providing misleading information to ECU. It should be a simple fix. There could still be other less obvious problems as well but try sorting this first.
