i have purchased a new cable from TPS for my radio.. but the aerial ( shark fin ) only has one cable coming from it .. why ?

my cable from the back of the radio has 2 cables 

confused . do i need to buy a new roof aerial aswell now :-(  ??

Purple fakra connectors are normally for GSM (not GPS), if you have factory fitted bluetooth (or even telephone prep) it'll probably go there.

 

Rather than swapping parts, it's probably best to find out what the problem is first.

- Is on your Octavia 1.6 estate 60reg?

- Does the head unit report any issues on a VCDS scan?

- Are you having problems with AM or FM?
