What kind of power is the 2006 one making? And when will it be for sale :) ?!

We are currently running a development hybrid turbo on the car.  Currently around the 420 bhp mark.

Might sell it, but I still love driving it.

Ta. Oh I'm sure tyres are the limiting factor, on the road at least.

are the s3 8p brakes a straight fit?

thanks

Loves this build thread I was looking around your car at the vag tuner show the other week. Good work I'm looking for a petrol wagon now but I'm still love driving the mk2 fabia vrs at 220bhp

Yep.  Need to also change the brake lines to the S3 ones.

Thanks, Did you use s3 carriers as well?

Great mods so far

The driver seat is something I really want to change, I always feel like I'm slipping out of it even driving at normal speed, much prefer my father inlaws new GTI seats.

You need S3/R32/Golf R/Scirocco R calipers, carriers, discs, pads and lines.  You need to either remove or cut the original dust shields too.  To remove them you need to pop the hub off.  Easy enough job.

thanks. Will probably go down that route at some point. I'm running the gfb dv+ seems pretty good.

Does the braided line delete the restricter or is that another part req'd

Does the braided line delete the restricter or is that another part req'd

The braided line gets rid of the 'Clutch Delay Valve', but not the restrictor in the bleed block.  The restrictor is really easy to remove and doesn't require any extra pieces.  Remove the bleed block, pop out the metal clip that holds the bleed nipple, pull out the nipple (ha), tap the bleed block and the little plastic restrictor should fall out.  Refitting is opposite of removal.  Bleed up the system and done.

are you still on the OEM wheels alex or did you get neuspeeds yet?

some great mods here btw

The Neuspeeds ended up being around £1500 so went for the Revo 19's.  They are 10kgs and a fair bit cheaper.

Any update on this Alex? I've just fit an IS38 turbo and looking at upgrading the clutch, would prefer OE feel i was looking at the south bend clutch stage 3 daily clutch kit. Any recommendations? Or comments?
