Was on A55 this afternoon and was just about to pass a truck carrying coarse aggregate when a largish stone from said truck must have fallen. I watched in horror as it first bounced on the road, then cringed as it clonked off the front of my week-old car. Visions of possible, all bad, passed through my head, and I only got the courage to check it out when I got to Keele services. Turns out it had actually bounced between the raised bits of the grille, leaving only a slight scuff...relieved is not the word!

Anyone else had lucky escapes?

Yup I had a lady go from the first lane on a round about to decide to turn right (whilst still indicating left) straight in front of me must have been inches away. I have good reactions fortunately. The adrenaline passed to my head pretty quick!

I'm on the A55 Tomorrow, off to Deganway then back home

Got side swiped at a junction at the weekend by someone running a red light... Luckily we were in the wife's car not mine (no one hurt thankfully) although I'm not sure she would see it as lucky :-P
