Bought this to replace my Toledo as a taxi due to the Toledo being a tad small and damaging my knee.

It's a 1.6 TDi elegance so has the half leather, cruise control, climate control, powerfold mirrors etc. Covered about 400 miles since I collected it on Monday and it's a seriously brilliant car compared to the Toledo! My back, knee and hip isn't sore after I get out and it absorbs the bumps and pot holes on the road far better than the Toledo as well.

So far being a taxi I've only done small mods as I can't go ott unfortunately lol, fitted my rapid sport pedal covers from my Toledo, tinted the windows and I have front mudflaps, sill covers and child mirror to fit, also have genuine skoda rubber mats and the carpet mats are in my spare room.

The Toledo is a good car but the seats aren't the comfiest, other than that I liked them. Had drove 2 before buying mine, I went for the itech because it's the top of the range and only had 2 options available due to having everything lol, it's now called stye advanced. It had cruise, climate control, dab radio and half leather seats plus the graphite wheels.

I prefer the Octavia though, I thought I'd miss my Toledo but I actually don't lol.

Here is my car though, my 3rd Octavia. It has taken a while to 'gel' due to a few issues, but I am very pleased with it in general.

 

Seems most Elegances I'm seeing either here or out on the road have this Garden of England identifier in the reg.
GC, GK and mine is (or was before the vanity plate) GM. 

The majority I see are the same, mines is an ex europcar rental car so would imagine the majority are the same, arnold clark buy a lot of their cars. I remember when I worked at arnies Peugeot removing the e off the boots of 207s and 307/308s lol.

Done over 250 miles tonight and came into the house feeling great and the only pain I have is from my pulled muscle in my shoulder! The car is so comfy lol.
