Help - When is a standard Wing Indicator not a standard wing indicator?

Hi All,

First post here...

I have an Octavia 2005 1.9TDI. Running very well for an 11 year old car, but one issue is vexing me.

Needed to change my wing mirror indicators as they weren`t working (probably water got into it). I purchased a set that was for the Mk2.

I went to fit them today but found this problem...

The newer Mk2 connector doesn`t look like this. I have a white twin connector and the one i purchased has a black triple connector. Also the screw mountings are in the wrong position, as you can see. Ironically they both have the same 1Z3 part number.

Does anyone know where i can get a set of these instead of the set i`ve just purchased?

P.S. If anyone`s looking for the newer set I`m happy to post them out, as they`re no use to me!!

Mid-way through a holiday in France and the Infotainment gremlins are back… SOS call fail, parking distance fail and manoeuvre assist fail, coupled with infotainment system booting, lasting about 30s, freezing and rebooting. SOS light on red and multiple warnings on dash. Car is coming up to 2 years old and has had repeated software issues. Could really use some help from someone who has had this issue and can stop the endless reboots !!!

Hi all fabia Monte Carlo received car with no history, but completed checks using VCDS engine was healthy except 2 sec rattle cold start. I want to change my tensioner because I believe it’s failing to hold tension due to the 2 sec rattle on cold start which immediately ceases and also fails to reoccur when turning on car a second time, or if it’s only been stood a short while. Hi good people! I just updated my car to SW 332 (came with 330). I have Superb combi 2023 Style, but it has Columbus (bigger) MIB3 infotainment. First I wanted to update maps, as it was V25.5. So, I've downloaded 26.2 (latest from https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/), added it to the USB-A stick, but nothing happened, no notification. Left the stick inside and in the meantime got trial for Infotainment online package. Now it's saying map version 26.6 (despite online showing 26.2), so what happ

I have previously commented on lane assist being a problem but this morning it came very close to causing an accident. I was following a friend and neighbour on the first part of our respective journeys to work. The road is subject to a 60mph limit. I was doing just on 40. He turns right and pulls into the right turn lane provided so there is plenty of room to pass on the nearside. Hi all, I have an issue with my 2005 Octavia I was hoping to get some assistance with. For as long as I can remember I’ve had a strange, intermittent issue with the electric windows on the car.
