The left-hand knob on the climatronic unit has a button 'max' which is described (in the useless manual) as 'intensive de-icing or ventilation of the windscreen'.   Very good and very useful, but what does it actually do ? Does the climatric have to have 'auto' and 'a/c' on ?

 

It is May, so I have 6 months to find out before I need it !!

Its a max deicing mode button, max heat, max fan, all on the front screen.

Look at it as a shortcut button, saves you selecting max everything.

No prerequisites, just press the button.
