Could you do me a little favour? - I thought, coming from Skoda UK, this would sound better and you'd get a proper genuine response. Could you contact the Skoda dealers in Barnstaple and Newton Abbot and see what they're views of mods are? Eventually, I can see myself having to choose one to use, and I don't fancy them plugging my car into a computer and wiping my remap! (one would not be amused) If you're too busy then don't worry, but I'd be interested to hear what they tell their "bosses". I'd be eternally grateful.

Jason, that is a stupid question to ask... Skoda UK does not endorse modifications, so why would they ask dealers to see things through their fingers?!?

Jason, ring as a potential buyer without giving them your name, say you might be interested in buying a Fabia, ask what sort of guarantee the car comes with, then ask your 'what if I decide to tune/mod....' questions.

- I'm feeling embarrassed now. I'd prefer Barnstaple for distance anyway, as it's about the same as Exeter, just much more twisty and half the speed.
