I've just (month ago) bought a 2nd hand Octavia GLXi 1.6 1999 LPG/Petrol Hatchback. Got a few queries about it .

Hehe, thanks for the welcome, i'm just having a search around the older posts first, see if i can find any answers there.

Firstmost can i ask if anyone owns a Skoda running LPG?

Basically i'm not exactly sure what my Octavia should have come with, i mean, in the owner manual it mentions cruise control and parking lights, i'm guessing that's only on the SLX and not the GLX?

Another thing is the sound system, it has grills but no rear speakers under the shelf, is that normal? Also, are there speakers on the rear passenger doors near the window control (meshed)?

Yeh, this is my first Skoda, heck, it's my first (self owned) car.

I passed my test just over 2 years ago and have been driving my dad's Peugeot 406 off n on till i got my own car.

Always liked the look of Skoda's new and old (and Lada's come to that). I tried a Felicia but unfortunately, due to my size, i couldn't fit in it very well
