I am worried, cause want to chip it on Wednesday, but more importantly I have to go back 1800km from where I am to London next Sunday. Error goes off after clearing with VCDS, but comes back after some period of time. Have not noticed issues with performance when it goes on, no unwanted effects like power limitation or fuel economy drop when decided to drive 100km with this error, but prefer not to have it if I can.

Any idea what that may relate to?

Thanks

Are all three errors recurring after you clear them?

Hi,

No, only this air too rich. Read one topic on this and they mentioned possible corelation between this error abd use of fuel with bio addittives - i did put fuel in Germany and in Poland which was dufferent from normal UK, maybe it will stop surfacing after return to UK..?

Is the exhaust leaking at all?

Hi,

Not as I could say and was standing at back of car when it was pushing 150kmh on rolling road... But then again may have not noticed due to lack of knowledge what to look for..

Had a drive back - 1800km in one stint, check engine lited twice, but this time I did noticed quite a visible fuel economy drop - haven't cleared it for almost 600km and result was that was unable to drive through entire Germay on one tank..

Circa 7 litres per 100km was economy with average speed of 118km/h between south of Poland and Antwerp - cruising speed was set to 132kmh.
