Just looked at mine this evening and it is saying that the first service (oil change) is due at 9000 miles or 260 odd days which without adding it up seems pretty much the 12 months from collection.

 

I know the car is on fixed 10,000 or 12 months but this seems a bit odd that it has dropped by 1000 miles already (am on 2500 miles).  I have the service plan so not a big concern in terms of budget etc but will obviously become one if it keeps dropping or says every year after the plan runs out "I need a service after 9,000 miles".

 

I am guess that ignoring the counter and either going in at 10,000 or 12 months regardless of what the computer says is a no-go as Skoda would use it as a stick for a warranty problems etc.  I know the oil is the variable oil so am confused.

Mine was on 10,000 miles the dealer confirmed at collection. 4 months to the day of delivery and it was in for the service, got it switched to long life. Not that cost bothers me as its a company car but I didn't want the hassle of having to take it in three times a year!

The service was all done - they just did an oil change and pollen filter change.

 

Service schedule has been reset and i think it says due in 19,800 miles.
