Well the brakes work....

Featured Replies

Today I had the first instance of having to carry out a real world proof test of the brakes in my VRS 220. I was travelling at 33mph in a 40mph zone due to a junction. The video speaks for itself ha ha....

Its a nextbase 512g, the original footage is better!

As nice as venison is I could buy an awful lot of it for the price of a bumper, front grill or even more scary a bixenon unit!!

Thanks will look into it

Very lucky.

I hit one at 60mph in the dark in 2003 when I had my Galant. Shot out from the wooded verge. Did over £1.5k damage - bonnet, grille, bumper, front valance, headlamp, wing. Can still see it flying over the roof. And hear my passenger's language as he looked up to see it bounce off the car. Killed it on impact.

That's absolutely what went through my mind. I lost a front grille to a bird in the m6 in my Leon so God knows what a 5 or 6 stone deer would do!

I was doing less than 35 in a 40 there, but the road goes through a housing estate so totally unexpected.

I was impressed with the anchors but not so much with the ****ty Bridgestone that came as standard, the ABS was going crazy at only 35mph because the rubber couldnt keep up.

Thinking I have 4 of those surrounding me doesn't inspire confidence.

I took out a Donkey Size Deer in my Works Vehicle a few years back, I was doing around 65 mph, Guess who won
