Columbus multiple phones

Featured Replies

Can more than one phone be connected at the same time via Bluetooth?

Can you set a main/default phone as priority over the other if both phones are in range?

If you get a call on the non main/default phone will it ring via the system?

Thanks.

It can be connected to only one phone. Activity is one that will connect first. In mneu you can choose another one.

I dont know about phonefunctionality, but two phones can be connected.

I always have mine connected, and the missus sometimes connects hers aswell to play music via Bluetooth.

+1 you can definitely connect 2 phones, but not sure if both can have phone functionality.

If they're both iPhones, you can sign into both of them with your iCloud details and enable WiFi calling and both phones will ring

Thanks guys.

I'm (hopefully) picking up my brand spanking new vRS Estate at the end of the month. Company car. Hence the 2 phones.

I understand that the default/main phone will be the one to call out on, I was just wondering if I were to receive a call on the 2nd phone, whether it would ring through the system or not ?

Handy to know about the music streaming from second phone though.

1 x iPhone (work) and 1 x Android (personal)

If not work will have to wait and I'll call them back when it is safe to do so :p

On my Columbus (MIB1 2014)  I have 4 phones paired but I can have only 1 phone connected at a time.

e.g. If my wife connects her phone to make a call, my phone is disconnected.

I guess in the phone settings if you configured one with access to the Phone/Phonebook and another with access only as an audio device this might work but if both are configured with Phone Access I'm pretty sure you cannot connect them both at the same time.
